Privacy Policy.

This page explains what information PermitLeadsHQ ("we", "us") handles when you use permitleadshq.com, and what choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run your account, we do not sell it, and we do not use advertising trackers.

1. Information about you

• Account. Your email address, your company name if you give one, and your password, which we store only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• Use of the service. The builder numbers you unlock, the leads you save and your alert settings.
• Technical records. Like any website, our server logs the IP address, the browser and the pages requested. We use this to keep the service secure and working.
• Payments. When you buy a plan, the payment is handled by our online reseller, the merchant of record named at checkout. We never see or store your card number. We receive your plan, the status of the subscription and the email used.

2. Cookies

We use one cookie, and only after you log in: it keeps you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. What we use it for

• To run your account and show you what your plan includes.
• To send the project alerts you asked for. Every alert email has a link to stop them.
• To answer you when you write to us.
• To protect the service against abuse and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

4. Companies that help us

We share only what each one needs to do its job:

• Hosting. The service runs on servers in the United States.
• Payments. The merchant of record that processes the order, charges the tax and issues the receipt.
• Email. The provider that delivers our messages.
• Maps and fonts. The maps and typefaces on our pages are loaded from outside providers (OpenFreeMap, cdnjs and Google Fonts). To deliver those files they receive your IP address, as happens on most websites.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while the account exists. When you delete the account from the account page, your saved leads, unlocked numbers and alert settings are erased with it. Server logs are kept for about 30 days and then deleted. Records we must keep by law, such as proof of a purchase, are kept for as long as the law requires.

6. Your choices

• Change or turn off your alerts on the account page, or with the link in any alert email.
• Delete your account on the account page.
• Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or erase it, by writing to support@permitleadshq.com.

Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your personal information. We honor those requests wherever you are.

7. The records we publish

The projects shown on the service come from public records that city permit offices publish. They can include the name and business phone number of the builder who filed the permit.

If you are a builder or a property owner and want a record corrected or removed, write to support@permitleadshq.com with the address of the project. We review every request and answer within three business days.

8. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection, passwords are stored hashed and access to the server is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you do not use elsewhere.

9. Children

The service is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in an important way we will say so on the site or by email before the change applies.
