Terms of Service.
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and PermitLeadsHQ ("we", "us") for the use of permitleadshq.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What the service is
PermitLeadsHQ collects building permit records that city permit offices publish as public records, cleans them up, groups them by job site and shows them as leads: the project, its address and the builder named on the permit.
We are an independent company. We are not a government agency and we are not affiliated with any city, county or permit office.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and use the service for business purposes.
- Give us a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- One account is for one person. Team plans say how many people may use them.
- You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
3. Plans and billing
- The free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance each month, at the price shown when you subscribe, plus any tax that applies.
- Orders are processed by our online reseller, who is the merchant of record for the sale. Its name appears at checkout and on your receipt. It handles payment, tax and invoices, and its own terms apply to the payment.
- A subscription renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the account page. After you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a payment fails, we may move the account to the free plan.
- Deleting your account stops the subscription and ends the plan right away.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next billing period, and we will tell you by email before it does.
Refunds are explained in the Refund Policy.
4. What you may do with the leads
You may use the information to contact builders and offer your own products and services. When you do, you must follow the law. That includes the rules on phone calls, text messages and email that apply to you, such as the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, Do Not Call rules and the CAN-SPAM Act in the United States.
You may not:
- resell, publish or share the leads, in whole or in part, or use them to build a competing product;
- copy the service with robots, scrapers or any other automated tool;
- share your account or let other people use your unlocked numbers;
- use the service to harass anyone, to send unlawful messages, or for any unlawful purpose;
- try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
5. About the data
The records come from public sources and are shown as the source published them. Permit offices make mistakes, publish late and change records, so information can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. A phone number can be missing or no longer in use. A declared value is what the applicant told the city, not an appraisal.
We do not promise that any lead will become a customer, and nothing on the service is legal, financial or professional advice.
6. Our content
The website, its design, its software and the way the records are organized belong to PermitLeadsHQ. The underlying public records remain public. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service while your account is in good standing.
7. Suspension and closing
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk or is used unlawfully. If we close a paid account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we refund the unused part of the current period.
8. Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, PermitLeadsHQ is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as the service changes. If a change is important we will tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
